Fidelity Ladies v AFC R&D Ladies

A cool & cloudy day with a light breeze, so conditions were good for playing football.
Our ladies played a good attacking game, constantly having shots at goal and putting the R&D Ladies under constant defensive pressure throughout the game. We had an early setback as a mis-cued clearance kick away from our goal ended up going in for an own goal after 9 mins. R&D scored again 30 mins in before giving away a penalty a few minutes later which our Mollie put into the back of the net.
Half Time: 1-2
We continued playing our attacking football and had many chances to score, but failed to put them into the back of the net. R&D had less chances, but made the most of the ones they did get, scoring 3 more goals to our 1 from Alicia.
Overall, we were really happy with how well we played and are already looking forward to our next game. It was thrilling to watch as it could have easily gone one way or the other at any point.
